Beyonce’, Oprah and Jamie Foxx are amongst a host of celebrities set to appear on the Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief telethon to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey that hit Houston, Texas last week. The telethon, created by Houston rapper Bun B and Scooter Braun, will air live on multiple networks including ABC, CBS, CMT, Fox and NBC next Tuesday September 12th at 8pm ET. You will also be able to catch the live streams via Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
Messages and performances during the Hand in Hand telethon will come from Matthew McConaughey, Julia Roberts, Adam Sandler, Ryan Seacrest and many more. If you would like to support with helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey during the telethon you will be able to donate via phone, text messaging and online through the duration of the live show. United Way of Greater Houston, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, Direct Relief, Feeding Texas and the Mayor’s Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief are among the various charities that the proceeds collected from the one-hour event will be donated to.
